Not giving in to the challenging times, Hispania, escuela de español has decided to invest in innovation once again and has started to offer hybrid courses.

Hybrid Learning is an innovative modality that combines online educational materials with place-based classroom methods. It allows the teacher and some students to attend lessons on-campus while they learn Spanish and interact online with their classmates who are following the lesson online.

With the spread of the pandemic, digital and social media has become more prevalent in education, and academic tourism has had to adapt to the current times. Although the hybrid modality was not something new, Hispania, escuela de español has found in this modality the best option to offer students the possibility to keep learning Spanish with the maximum flexibility. The Comunidad Hispania, the online version of Hispania, escuela de español, had great acceptance, and we wanted to offer students the best of our online and on-site versions. Thanks to the flexibility of the Hispania Method, our methodology adapts to any modality! The school has invested in acquiring all the necessary devices and the latest technology. Furthermore, intense in-house training has been offered to teachers, so they can support students to take full advantage of all the peaks of the hybrid lessons.

Regarding the new format, Rita Rodríguez, ELE teacher in charge of the in-house hybrid training at Hispania, escuela de español, says the following:

Thanks to hybrid classes, teachers and students are in the classroom and anywhere in the world at the same time, as it allows you to gather at the same space people living in different parts of the world. One of the most rewarding aspects of ELE is being able to stay in touch with different cultures and ways of understanding the world, and hybrid classes make it even easier.

According to Aymane, the hybrid modality has only advantages for students, as he really enjoys learning Spanish with hybrid classes, whereas for Tatiana, the advantage of learning Spanish with hybrid classes is the possibility of meeting other people, despite the current capacity restrictions issued by the local government for the on-site classes.
